Brisas has a heartwarming story that began as a bakery and restaurant in Elizabeth, New Jersey. In 1989, Albeiro Orozco emigrated from Colombia to the U.S. and was quick to notice a gap in the representation of Colombian food and culture in New Jersey. It was in response to this need that Brisas was born. The authentic flavors and warm hospitality of Brisas drew people together which became a cherished community staple in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

At the core of Brisas is our commitment to authenticity. We hold true to our Colombian roots, which are the very foundation of our brand, as we continue to flourish within the diverse tapestry of America. We are firm believers in the power of culture to unite communities, and we are dedicated to making Latin food accessible to everyone.

While Elizabeth was our first home, we are expanding our family rapidly. We now proudly operate six locations across New Jersey and Florida.

In 2018, we achieved the remarkable honor of becoming the
"Official Empanada of the New York Red Bulls."

Driving the expansion and growth of Brisas are the passionate forces of Albeiro Orozco's son, David Orozco, and his business partner, Cameron Chung. They share the same conviction in the importance of cultural exchange within our community, and they are dedicated to spreading the warmth of Latin hospitality.
